Actor Ruslaan Mumtaz, who is known for his television shows like Yeh Rishte Hain Pyaar Ke and Laal Ishq, has made his Netflix debut with his first ever International film titled ‘Namaste Wahala’.
The trailer of the cross-cultural love story just dropped today and looks quite interesting. Ruslaan is paired opposite the gorgeous Nigerian actress, Ini Dima-Okojie in the Nollywood-Bollywood rom-com. The film is a very simple tale about a couple who meet each other and fall in love instantly. But, the only thing being that he is Indian and she is Nigerian and they have their families to convince!
Ruslaan (Raj) who sees Dima-Okojie (Didi) in Nigeria and instantly falls for her. The story then is about how the both of them try hard to convince their parents that love is beyond borders. Well, I’m hoping it does have a sweet and happy ending!

Directed by Hamisha Daryani Ahuja, the film also stars Segal Sujata, Mofe Damijo, Ajoke Silva, Osas Ighodaro, Adaora Lumina, Ibrahim Suleiman, Frodd, Imoh Eboh, Osas, Eneeicha, K10, Mexemania and Pay ‘Tience.
‘Namaste Wahala’ is all set to drop on Netflix on 14th February, 2021 and could certainly make for a cute watch this Valentine’s day!
