It’s old news that Bollywood’s leading ladies favour all-black. What’s not to love about the colour? It makes you feel invisible and sexy and almost dangerous some days. Yes, most of us use black as it is a very forgiving colour as well. So it would come as no surprise that Bollywood turns to the colour every now and then. In the last few days we’ve seen quite the spike in the amount of celebs who’ve been wearing black. Scroll on to see some of these latest looks.

1) Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone puts a spin on date night. She wears a simple and classic, black scoop neck tank top that she pairs with matching black wid-leg drawstring pants. Not a look that you’d normally see one of Bollywood’s leading stars opt for but I really love it. Maybe I am biased here because it’s a look I would wear to date night too. Of course, she accessorises with a statement, celebrity-worthy handbag. She carries her OnTheGo Monogram tote from Louis Vuitton and styles her look with white sneakers.
2) Katrina Kaif
Katrina Kaif nails comfort dressing for the airport with her all-black matching co-ord set. The set features a cosy sweatshirt and matching joggers. Black sneakers to accompany her style statement. She leaves her hair open and opts for no-makeup just the perfect way to travel. Bollywood’s favourite stars really are enjoying the joys of pandemic life.
3) Kiara Advani
Kiara Advani is Bollywood’s latest heartthrob, just take a look at her smile if you don’t believe me. Kiara steps out in a more conservative, sleeveless black tank that she pairs with her hippie style comfy black, cotton pants. She adds some interesting accessorise like a grey fedora hat and beige-coloured slides. The star is quite big on her luxury handbags and is often seen carrying her Christian Dior book bag.
4) Janhvi Kapoor
Bollywood’s star child Janhvi Kapoor doesn’t do all-black but she opts for a soft, ribbed polo neck. The sleeves feature interesting slits around the wrist. Love that she paired her look with a camel-coloured, checkered, wide-leg pants. She adds chunky black shoes and tiny gold hoops for interesting but impactful details. Natural makeup and naturally wavy hair complete her look.
5) Fatima Sana Shaikh
Fatima Sana Shaikh is Bollywood’s most interesting, rising star at the moment. She wears a halter neck crop top that she pairs with tracksuit bottoms. And oversized black leather handbag and pink slides add to her look. Round frame glasses add that funky touch to her all-black look. What I do love about her look though is that messy, high ponytail, don’t you agree?
