Vijay Varma is a theatre artist who successfully made his transition into Bollywood. He made his acting debut in Chittagong but became a household name with Gully Boy. He’s even nominated for best supporting actor for his role in Gully Boy. Since then he’s been in Hurdang, Yaara, Bamfaad and even been in web series shows like A Suitable Boy, She and Mirzapur. Normally we don’t often see men opting for light colours and pastel colours especially. And frankly, that’s rather unfortunate because they would look so fantastic. Men steer clear from certain colours for the fear of looking and seeming less many. They couldn’t be more wrong in thinking that way. How can colours be associated with genders? We’re in 2021 and it’s time to embrace colours and how we truly want to dress. Take a cue from Vijya Varma, he opts for a gorgeous lilac tee that he layers with a powder blue, denim jacket. The jacket features a hoodie and interesting zipper details.
Now you could wear this look with white pants too if you’re on a beach or going to a day-time event. But if you aren’t comfortable going full stretch then opt for dark coloured trousers. See how Vijay pairs his look with black, utility pants? It makes the colours pop. He accessorises with a long silver, pendant necklace and dark retro-style sunglasses. What I love about his look though is how he styles it with a pair of red and white Nike sneakers that really add that pop of colour.
