For years, a claim that has plagues Priyanka Chopra has been that she has gone under the knife to ‘fix her nose.’ Finally, the global superstar reveals what the actual story behind the so-called nose job is in her book Unfinished.

The actress revealed that she had to undergo a nose surgery in the early 2000s. Recalling the incident, Priyanka revealed that how it all began with a lingering cold in 2001 which she believed was a sinus infection. She was also asthmatic and had trouble breathing because of the same. It was after that the actress consulted a doctor who was recommended by her family friend. The doctor informed her that she had a polyp inside her nasal cavity that needed to be removed surgically. She thought this would be a routine procedure but unfortunately for PC, the polypectomy did not go well. She wrote how the doctor accidentally shaved off the bridge of her nose while removing the polyp because of which it collapsed.

She goes onto mention how horrified she and her mom were when her bandages were removed. The actress wrote how she felt like her original nose was gone and how her face looked completely different and how it made her feel devastated and hopeless. In the aftermath, PeeCee remembers how the media called her Plastic Chopra. She also talked about how this has followed her in her entire professional life. PeeCee later underwent multiple surgeries to fix the damage caused by the polypectomy.
