On a day off, most of us would plan to Netflix and chill, maybe catch up with friends or family. But when you’re Janhvi Kapoor you play dress up. The star spent her day doing a fun collaborative photoshoot that she shared images of on her Instagram. If only looking this good was so easy, we’re a little envious but also inspired.
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor’s biopic Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, released on Netflix due to Covid-19. The movie did well and Janhvi was lauded for her performance. She is currently filming Good Luck Jerry, a Hindi adaptation of a Tamil film. The star will also play a dual role alongside Rajkummar Rao in horror comedy film Roohi Afzana. She also has Dostana 2 in her kitty opposite Kartik Aryan and Laksh Lalwani.

Janhvi’s dress is well-fitted and really pulls focus to the curves on her waistline. The fabric has movement and falls like butter. What’s interesting about the dress is the asymmetrical, off-shoulder sleeve and the fabric that runs across the neckline and joins the sleeve in the back. She looks like a mermaid on a rock in the middle of the ocean. Don’t you just love this look?
Makeup artist Riviera Lynn gives her a silver-grey smokey eye with mascara laden lashes, contoured cheeks and matte pink rosy lips. Now Janhvi Kapoor has fantastic lush hair, so hairstylist Sheetal Khan plays around with her natural textures and just adds movement to it.
