For all you guys who were waiting to know about when you can catch the power-packed action-thriller, Liger on screens, we have a date now! Just yesterday, Ananya Panday and producer Charmee Kaur took to social media to share that the release date of the film starring Vijay Deverakonda alongside Ananya will be announced today morning.
The Puri Jagannadh directorial is set to release theatrically on September 9th, 2021. Liger is a PAN-Indian film releasing all over the world in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. This is the first time Vijay and Ananya are going to come together for a film, and it is also the first time Ananya will be seen in a PAN-Indian film, which surely has both her and us excited!
Producer Karan Johar and his production house, Dharma Movies, announced the news just now as they shared a brand new poster from the film featuring Vijay. He looks supper ripped and will be seen playing a boxer in the film.

Liger is a cross between a lion and a tiger, and Vijay seems to be essaying a role where he is also a crossbreed – possessing the strengths of both these animals. The analogy sure is interesting and I can’t wait to catch this one on screen this September!
