Actors Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malavika Mohanan are all set to star in the romantic-action-thriller ‘Yudhra’. The film is slated to release in the summer of 2022. Backed by actor-producer Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment, the film is helmed by Ravi Udyawar, who directed Sridevi’s swansong, Mom in 2017. This film will mark the second Bollywood outing of Malvika Mohanan after ‘Beyond The Clouds’.
Siddhant who made his big Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s 2019 drama “Gully Boy” as MC Sher, took to Instagram and shared an action-packed teaser, along with posters of the film. “The one who can make death its friend, he is ‘Yudhra’,” the 27-year-old actor wrote.

The film’s story and the screenplay are written by Farhan Akhtar and Shridhar Raghavan. The former is also credited with its dialogues, along with writer Akshat Ghildial. Apart from “Yudhra”, Siddhant will also be seen in the sequel Bunty Aur Babli alongside Sharvari Wagh. The actor also has Shakun Batra’s untitled film, co-starring Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday. While Malvika was last seen in the Tamil hit ‘Master’ and she will next be seen in Karthick Naren’s ‘D43’ alongside Dhanush.
