Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt are gearing up to unite once again! After entertaining us with ‘Dear Zindagi’, SRK will soon be producing a film featuring Alia Bhatt. The film is titled ‘Darlings’ and will chronicle the story of a quirky mother-daughter duo. The story was narrated to Alia a while ago, she loved it and instantly came on board for the film.
The film, ‘Darlings’ will mark the directorial debut of Jasmeet K Reen, who has written films like ‘Force 2’, ‘Fanney Khan’ and ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’. The film will also star actors like Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew. According to the reports, ‘Darlings’ is touted to be a quirky story whose focal point will be the relationship of an endearing mother-daughter duo, played by Alia and Shefali, who are steering through the different circumstances in life. According to a report by Tims Of India, a source revealed that the film will be set in Mumbai against the backdrop of a middle-class family and narrates the lives of two women, as they find courage and love in exceptional circumstances. The film is expected to go on floors in the first quarter of 2021. ‘Darlings’ will reportedly release by the end of this year. However, an official announcement is yet to be made.
