With films slowly releasing in theatres all over, Dinesh Vijan’s Roohi is the latest to join the hood. Starring Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma among others, this horror-comedy is set to release in the theatres soon.
Taking to social media yesterday, the star cast shared a teaser post of the film, sharing that the name of the film has been changed from ‘Roohi Afza’ to ‘Roohi‘. The teaser had a silhouette of the ‘bhootiya‘ bride, Janhvi, alongside Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma who were dressed as grooms. They welcomed us to the ‘Bhootiya Shaadi’ and we just got to see more from this mad, horror thriller with the trailer that just dropped today!
The story is on the similar lines to Rajkummar and Shraddha Kapoor‘s Stree. It’s about a ghost who possesses brides as she gets a whiff of marriage from any household. Rajkummar and Varun’s characters have been left to take care of Janhvi’s character who brings a lot of spook and havoc into their lives. In the end, it is said that she will be rid of the ghost only if she gets married and Varun and Rajkummar are left in a fix, but a surely funny one at that!
