The virtual promotions of Priyanka Chopra Jonas‘ memoir, Unfinished, sure is resulting in some lovely conversations and revelations from both PC and her guests’ sides! Be it Ranveer Singh or now husband Nick Jonas!
PC was recently in conversation with Nick for a promotional interview where they took fan questions. And one question which both their fans and Nick were ‘dying to know’ was about the moment Priyanka fell in love with him.
Answering the question, and clearly blushing and going all red, Priyanka reminded Nick about how she visited his studio after they went for a Dodgers game together. She said that was when.
PC recalls, “You remember when I came to the studio, after the Dodgers game?” Nick nods to that.
Giving us a little context with the Dodgers game, Nick continues:
We go to the Hollywood Bowl, it’s an amazing, magical night; go to the Dodgers game the next day, which was a confirmation that this wasn’t a fluke, and that we really liked each other. Within 48 hours of that, we were saying ‘I Love You’ to each other.
Then, PC speaks about the studio visit:
So I came to the studio with a friend of mine, and I was really shaken up by your whole energy. One thing to know about my husband is that when he wants something, nothing can come in the way of that. He’ll just make the whole world believe in what he believes in. And that’s what was happening with me; I was going along with this energy. The moment when I felt that my knees buckled was when you were conducting this choir of these amazing gospel singers.
PC shares that they hadn’t met many times before they realised they had feelings for each other. And the rest as we know, is history! The couple tied the knot at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur in 2018.
