I don’t know about you but I like to celebrate special days by sipping on a yummy cocktail and just having fun! I am not a fan of alcohol but cocktails make me weak, and I enjoy making them just as much as I enjoy having them. Which is why, I am always on the lookout for a new cocktail recipe that’s not too complicated, doesn’t need a lot of ingredients or bartender skills, and just hits the spot! If you feel like you and I share this feeling in common then I’ve got something really cool for you.

1. Yes We Cran

Yes We Cran by Diageo India

Ingredients

45 ml Black & White Scotch Whiskey

10 ml lime juice

60 ml cranberry juice

Garnish

Lime wedge on each serve

Method

Build all the ingredients into a highball glass with ice and stir well. Garnish and serve!

2. Gordon’s G&T

Gordon’s G&T by DIageo India

Ingredients

50 ml Gordon’s London Dry Gin

Fresh bottled tonic to top

Method

Step 1: Fill a chilled glass with fresh ice cubes.

Step 2: Pour in the gin and top up with chilled tonic.

Step 3: Gently squeeze a wedge of lime into the glass before dropping it in, then give it all a final stir!

3. Ketel One Espresso Martini

Ingredients

50 ml Ketel One

45 ml Espresso (2.5 tsp instant coffee powder mixed with 20 ml warm water)

15 ml sugar syrup

Method

Step 1: Shake all the ingredients with some ice cubes.

Step 2: Fine strain the mix into a chilled martini glass and garnish with 3 coffee beans!

4. Johnnie Walker Peach Highball

Ingredients

50 ml Johnnie Walker Red Label

50 ml peach tea (chilled)

100 ml soda water

Method

Combine ingredients in an ice-filled highball glass and garnish with slices of peach or a sprig of mint.

5. Negroni

30 ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin

30 ml Rosso Antico

30 ml Campari

Method

Step 1: Add all the ingredients to a mixing glass full of ice and stir to dilute.

Step 2: Strain into a chilled rocks glass with fresh ice.

Step 3: Garnish with an orange slice or twist.

6. Apple Dog

Ingredients

50 ml Copper Dog

150 ml green apple juice

Method

Combine all the ingredients in an ice-filled highball glass and garnish with a slice of green apple.

7. Smirnoff No 21

Smirnoff No 21 by Diageo India

Ingredients

30 ml 0r 60 ml Smirnoff No 21

Soda to top

1 wedge of lime/orange/sweet lime/mandarin/kafir lime

Method

Step 1: In a highball glass filled with ice, pour Smirnoff No 21 and place your preferred fruit slice.

Step 2: Top it with soda, gently stir it all and serve!

8. The Singleton Old Fashioned

The Singleton Old Fashioned by Diageo India

Ingredients

50 ml The Singleton of Glendullan 12 YO

10 ml Simple Syrup or honey

2 dash Angostura Bitters

Method

Step 1: Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes and add all the ingredients.

Step 2: Keep stirring it for good 20 seconds.

Step 3: Now, strain it all into a chilled glass with fresh ice cubes and garnish with an orange twist.

9. Baileys Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

50 ml Baileys Original Irish Cream Liquor

250 ml milk

2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

30 gm dark chocolate

1 tbsp sugar

Whipped cream

Chocolate sauce

Dark chocolate

Method

Step 1: In a small saucepan, heat up the milk.

Step 2: Add the cocoa powder and chocolate and stir with a whisk until the chocolate has melted.

Step 3: Turn off the heat and add Baileys. (Taste it and add sugar to your taste)

Step 4: Top with whipped cream, chocolate sauce and chocolate shavings.
