The news of our Indian actors collaborating with international filmmakers and actors is always exciting news, no? A few months ago, we learnt about South-Indian actor Dhanush bagging a role in the Hollywood film ‘The Gray Man’ directed by Russo Brothers and co-starring Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling. And honestly, we couldn’t keep calm!

Now, news is that the film has finally gone on floors today. The Russo Brothers, known for their iconic films like Avengers and Captain America, shared a monochrome picture of the clapper board tagging the actors and announced the commencement of shoot.

Check it out:

The film is based on the novel of the same name written by Mark Greaney. Ryan is set to play a freelance assassin and former CIA operative called Court Gentry. He is followed by Chris Evan’s character Lloyd Hansen, who was also a former member of Gentry’s CIA team.

As far as Dhanush’s character is concerned, the makers are keeping it under wraps, but an article by Times Of India states that the author of the novel, Mark, feels that Dhanush is set to play one of the heads of the kill team that is after Gosling’s character. Another exciting news was when we learnt that the Bridgerton actor, Regé-Jean Page also recently joined the star-studded cast! Read more about it here.

Well, we sure cannot wait to know more about it and to see Dhanush in this film alongside Ryan and Chris!
