The trailer of Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi‘s Chehre dropped on Thursday. A lot was said and speculated when actor Rhea Chakraborty was not seen in the poster and teaser of the upcoming thriller. With her appearance in the trailer that released yesterday, film’s producer Anand Pandit has finally spoken on the controversy.

Chehre marks Rhea’s first release post the sad demise of her boyfriend, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Addressing the controversy, Anand told Zoom TV that there was no any question of not having Rhea in the film. He further added that she was and an integral part of the film. He concluded by saying that he doesn’t believe in getting swayed so easily.

For the unversed, Sushant’s family had accused Rhea of abetting suicide and keeping the Dil Bechara actor away from his family. The actress denied all the charges but spent almost a month in custody on drug-related charges last year. She was later released on bail.

Helmed by Rumy Jafry,  the film also stars Annu Kapoor, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Raghubir Yadav, Krystle D’Souza and Siddhant Kapoor. The movie is all set to hit the theatres on April 9.

I am super excited to watch the film! What about you guys?
