Director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari always makes sure to bring to light beautiful shades of love and relationships with interesting narrations through her award-winning movies Nil Battey Sannata, Bareilly ki Barfi, Ghar ki Murgi and Panga. Now, she is back yet again, and this time, is set to make her OTT debut with SonyLIV and Studio Next‘s original – Faadu. It is set to be an unique, intense poetic love-story between two different thinking characters.

Time travels constantly and with the changing new era of storytelling i wanted to tell an insightful, character driven story that could challenge my thinking of way we look at stories and also explore the episodic nature of long format. I am filled with gratitude to debut with SonyLIV who have always been finding innovative ways to set world class benchmark for themselves and the creators. We have shared similar passion and excitement over the years when it comes to the stories we want to say, and taking a similar journey forward, this unconventional screenplay and long format medium will surely will be a new learning and adapting experience and hopefully stir hearts with its relatable concept.
During the past year, SonyLIV has put out some acclaimed originals and given it’s in the able hands of Ms Tiwari, I sure am looking forward to this one, for sure!
