Two of Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s biggest hits starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ramleela and Bajirao Mastaani were made in collaboration with Eros Now. Even after years of release, the film, songs, and snippets of the movie are widely loved by audiences around the world. But turns out SLB’s production house Bhansali Productions and Eros Now have butted heads. Turns out the two production houses have not come to a conclusion on the sharing and distribution of content related to Ramleela and Bajirao Mastaani. An official notice has been sent to Eros Now revoking their rights to share any content regarding these two films ever since 5th April 2021.

We at Bhansali Productions Private Limited vide our advocate’s letter dated 5th April 2021, have terminated agreements with EROS International Media Ltd. in relation to the Films “Goliyon Ki Rasleela- Ram Leela” and “Bajirao Mastani”. Consequently, all the rights granted by us to Eros International Media Ltd. stands revoked with effect from April 5, 2021. We hereby call upon all concerned to forthwith, cease, and desist from exploiting, dealing with any rights of the above said Films in any manner whatsoever, whether directly or indirectly, with immediate effect.
