The covid cases in India are increasing day by day while there are reports that suggest some vaccination centres have run out of vaccines. As more and more actors contract the virus, more shoots are being stalled. Maharashtra especially has gone into lockdown once again. Amidst all this, Ajay Devgn has decided to hold of the final stint of the Mayday shoot to a later date keeping his crew’s safety in mind. Despite the pandemic, Ajay has successfully shot major parts of his directorial debut Mayday that stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet.

According to the original plan, Ajay and his crew were supposed to head to Doha towards the end of April for a three-day schedule but due to the Covid surge in India, the actor has postponed this bit. Mayday is an aviation drama based on a 2015 incident of a Doha-Kochi flight that has a close shave due to poor visibility and has to be diverted to another airport in South India. The portion in Doha was supposed to be shot with the limited crew in a bio bubble. Doha has also layer down strict travel restrictions at the moment hence strengthening Ajay’s resolve at the moment, according to a report in Mid Day.

We hope he is able to complete the shooting of the film and bring the movie to fruition.
