The entire universe is made up of energy; I guessed we learned a little bit about that from Avatar. Just kidding! But these different energies vibrate at different frequencies including you, yourself and I. Your thoughts, emotions and actions all put out a certain kind of energy into the universe. This is exactly why we sometimes say, oh I liked X person’s vibe or that person’s vibe makes me want to keep my distance because we recognize this very frequency. That is why it is important to raise your vibration to live a more wholesome life.

So when you vibrate at a higher frequency you feel happier, mentally and emotionally. Even if you have a bad day, you’ll bounce back faster and the bad things in your life stop affecting you as much as they once did. Why should you raise your vibration you ask? So when you vibrate at a lower level we often experience negative feelings like anger, jealousy and sadness. Another thing that happens when you raise your vibration is that you begin to manifest your desires and your experiences will start matching your energy. You just start to attract everything you want and everything slowly starts to improve with time.

So here’s a list of 11 ways to raise your vibration to attract all the things you want:

1) Be grateful

This is an important one to make a habit out of. Because it will open your eyes to all the great things in your life that we often overlook. Try and make a list of 5 things to be grateful for at the end of the day, to begin with. And as time goes by you can just start saying the list out in your mind before bed. Being grateful will flood you with positive feelings that will help you raise your vibration and help you receive more. It’s a quick way to block out those pesky negative thoughts.

2) Meditate

Meditation is a great way to allow the mind a chance to pause. You only need 10 minutes in a day, find a quiet space and focus on your breathing. It is alright for your mind to wander and find sounds, don’t let this bother you. Just continue to focus on your breathing. It will help you pay attention to tiny details and will slowly start to eliminate your worries, anxieties and other negative feelings. Meditation is a great way to raise your vibration.

3) Connect with nature

The best way to replenish the soul is to connect the body with nature. Don’t you find yourself at peace when you’re in the mountains or on a beach or when your feet touch fresh glades of grass? A little sunlight and fresh never hurt anyone and it will actually help raise your vibration.

4) Self-care

I can’t stress this step enough. Taking care of yourself is the best way to raise your vibration. Play some soft tunes, get some essential oils going, put on a face mask, drink cucumber water and relax. Do what feels good and what makes you happy.

5) Visualise the life you want

Imagine a life where all your dreams come true. Now close your eyes and let it become a reality in your mind. Visualise your goals and imagine every aspect of your desires. Once you raise your vibration you are sure to slowly manifest your dreams.

6) Drink water and eat healthily

Drinking water will flush out all the toxins in your body. Also, pay attention to the food you eat and how it makes you feel. Make sure to add a whole lot of green leafy vegetables to your diet. Fresh fruits are plenty helpful. If you can cut out fried food and processed food it will do your body good. Drinking enough water and eating well will help you absorb all the high energy you need to raise your vibration.

7) Exercise

A guaranteed way to feel good is when the body releases endorphins. It is a happy chemical that is activated when we work out and triggers a euphoric feeling. So get up, get going and let the energy take over you. When you vibrate at a higher frequency you start healing your body of aches and pains as well.

8) Listen to music

Music can help eliminate pain and give you the pick me up you need when you feel sad. Cheerful music with empowering lyrics will raise your vibration. Pay attention to how certain kinds of music will make you feel. Remember, everything we consume affects the level we vibrate on. Even the music we listen to can raise our energy.

9) Journal

You raise your vibration when you put an organized thought into a book. Journaling is a good way to express your thoughts and feelings. It allows to you make a checklist and free your mind of any worries. Try it and see, if you don’t believe me.

10) Say your affirmations

Saying your affirmations out loud while looking into your eyes in a mirror is the quickest way to raise your vibration. An affirmation can be so powerful that it will help you attract all that your heart desires. Keep the statements simple and clear; if you sound confused you stand to confuse the universe. 11) Think positive and be kind

Thoughts become action and then become your reality. If you constantly view life as the glass half full you are filling yourself with negative energy. Positive thoughts guarantee positive outcomes.

Being generous and kind will also guarantee a rise in vibration. So every time you bad-mouth someone or act in greed you lower your vibration. Try to be conscious of the energy you put out into the world.
