The second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic is spreading like wildfire and currently, we are running short of the required healthcare resources. Of late Many Bollywood actors tested positive and just yesterday it was confirmed that veteran actor Randhir Kapoor also contracted the novel coronavirus.
The actor is currently being treated at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Dr. Santosh Shetty, who has been treating the 74-year-old actor, informed the media that his condition is “stable” and that there’s nothing to worry about. Reportedly, Randhir Kapoor was taken to the hospital on Wednesday night after he complained of breathlessness. The veteran actor is the father of Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor.
Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor had also tested positive for the virus. He recovered after isolating at home. Of late several Bollywood celebrities, including Bhumi Pednekar, Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, Vicky Kaushal had tested COVID positive. Most of them have recovered.
