Salman Khan has been one actor who has stepped up to personally help those in need amid the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. After distributing packets of food to the frontline workers recently through his ‘Being Haangry’ initiative, the actor has now come forward and lent a helping hand to a young boy in need.

The young boy’s plea for help on social media was first noticed by the Yuva Sena leader, Rahul N Kanal, who has been closely working with Salman in his ‘Being Haangry’ initiative. The 18-year-old boy from Karnataka lost his father due to COVID-19 and had requested for financial aid after his father’s passing. Rahul then brought it to Salman’s notice, who helped the boy with ration and educational material. He further even stated that he will provide all the necessary assistance the boy needs in future.

Speaking of providing support and helping people through social media, a lot of Salman’s fans have also actively been lending support and doing their bit for the people around them in his name. Rahul says that the actor is aware of all his fan clubs and fans who have donated plasma, oxygen cylinders, food packets, and so much more. Tweeting about it, he said, “So good to have fan clubs like these who are doing so much good work on their own .. god bless”.

Guess this is what it means when you are inspired from your favourite stars in the best possible way. Kudos to them and to Salman, who like many others in the industry, is being there for the people in these tough times.
