India is going through a tough time with the second wave of Covid-19 leaving the country devastated and in need of medical aid. Several known people have lost their lives due to the virus. Film editor, Ajay Sharma who was well known for his work in films like ‘Jagga Jasoos,’ ‘Ludo‘ and ‘Bandish Bandits‘ succumbed to Covid-19 complications. It has come as a piece of very shocking news to the entire film fraternity.

As per the sources at Hindustan Times, Ajay’s oxygen levels had improved but he suddenly collapsed. Pranjal Khandhdiya the producer of ‘Rashmi Rocket’ also stated “It was very tough to admit Ajay to a hospital. He was in Delhi at the time he got infected. He needed hospitalization and it was only after Anubhav Sinha and Taapsee Pannu tried for hours, they managed to get a bed for him.” Ajay’s health was improving and oxygen levels were normal but all of a sudden, he started to slip away.

Many celebrities are saddened and have taken to their social media handles to convey their condolences to Ajay’s family. Surely, Bollywood has lost one of its finest film editors who has contributed immensely towards Indian cinema.
