If you are like me, and have seen Shahid Kapoor from his Ishq Vishq, Vivaah and Jab We Met days, all the way upto Haider, Kaminey and Udta Punjab, then you can’t help but see how he has grown and evolved in his craft as an actor. It’s been 18 years of him in the industry and his mother, Neliima Azim is one proud mommy.
Shahid shared a selfie of his laying down on the grass, sharing a gratitude post that was equal parts celebratory and insightful and inspiring. He wrote, “Thank you all for all the wishes. It’s always special to turn 18. Keep it real. Be the change. Find every possible moment to be grateful. Make it count you all. Tomorrow is today.” Commenting on the post, Neliima Ji wrote some words of appreciation for her ‘darling son’.
She wrote:

On the work front, Shahid has the sports drama ‘Jersey’ opposite Mrunal Thakur, which he has finished filming for. He is also set to make his digital debut with a web series directed by the Family Man director duo — Raj & DK. I sure am super excited to see Shahid on our screens, ready to charm us for times to come!
