Arjun Kapoor marks 9 years of his career in the film industry today. But he shared a picture to mark this moment yesterday and it featured him alongside his late mother, Mona Kapoor. The actor posted a throwback picture sharing that even after 9 years, he still is sometimes lost without his mother by side, whom he lost to cancer in 2012, the same year he made his debut.

The throwback picture has an adolescent Arjun looking pretty lost, while his mother Mona is behind him and is seen smiling. This post comes a day after the whole world celebrated Mother’s Day, a day Arjun says he hated every bit of. He wrote, “Yesterday was Mother’s Day I hated every bit of it…. Tomorrow is 9 years of me being an actor but I’m still lost without you Mom. Just like in this picture I hope ur smiling watching over me & u got my back…”.

Here is his post:

From Ishaqzaade to his latest release, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Arjun has entertained us with some varied roles and has grown as an actor. He has Sardar Ka Grandson up for release on 18th May on Netflix, along with Bhoot Police and Ek Villain Returns in the pipeline. Here’s sending Arjun all the love. I sure can’t wait to see more of him on the big screen in the years to come!
