Dhruv Shah and Shyam Sharma together came up with Funcho in 2017 and started their YouTube channel. Their seamless equation is the highlight of all their videos. Not just that, these funkars started creating content with an aim to make their audience ROFLing. Today, Funcho has become a household name when it comes to comedy and entertainment and Dhruv and Shyam are the reason behind all the success. Their USP of creating 100% relatable content with their own twist of fun is what makes them stand out. We are so proud to see Funcho grow and achieve such great milestones.

Here’s what Shyam Sharma and Dhruv Shah have to say about their journey,
What started off as Funchod and is now known as Funcho happened because of our love for NaatakBaazi! We were pursuing engineering when we realised that we are better off on the stage than in a classroom. We once participated in a stage drama and we nailed it. Entertaining the audience was our thing. Soon after our graduation, we went our separate ways but we’d meet most evenings, laugh and share our day’s events. Around the same time, Snapchat was booming. Shyam being the bigger dramebaaz, used to make short, 15-second videos and circulate them among friends.
One day, while at the gym, we casually created a video, Garba in Gym and posted it on our newly created Facebook page. Little did we know that this video was about to make us popular! The video went viral! That gave us the motivation to understand the world of content creation and making our own space there. We posted 4-5 videos on Facebook after, of which 2 went viral. After establishing a viewer base on Facebook, we moved to YouTube and continued to flourish and grow there with consistent content posting.
We believe in creating relatable videos and giving everyday situations a new, funny twist which has helped us build a family of 2 million subscribers on YouTube and nearly 650K+ followers on Instagram. We reside in Virar, Mumbai. Here, the term ‘bachie‘ is a well-known term used to address friends. We adopted this term as #BachieGang. And now, our bachies all over the world know us as bachie log! We shall continue creating content and entertaining our audience for as long as we can.
