The second wave of Covid-19 pandemic has left many in trouble. Most parts of the country are still under lockdown and many industries and businesses have come to a halt. It has been the same with the film industry in India as well. The majority of the film shoots have been stopped due to the surge in the number of cases. The people who work on film sets are currently jobless because of the lockdown. Taking into consideration all of these major factors and as per the reports of Bollywood Hungama, Akshay Kumar has stepped up and decided to help 3600 dancers with monthly ration amid the ongoing pandemic.

This isn’t the first time that Akshay has come forward to help during an ongoing crisis. He and his wife Twinkle Khanna a few weeks earlier contributed to Covid-19 relief, helping the ones who have been severely affected by the virus. This humanitarian act is an example of kindness and compassion. It surely encourages and inspires me to reach out to the ones in need, even if it’s in the smallest way possible.

On the work front, Akshay will be next seen in ‘Sooryavanshi‘ and ‘Bell Bottom’ which is set to release this year.
As we all are going through a rough phase, I hope everyone is staying safe at home and taking care of themselves. Remember to always wear a mask and sanitize your hands regularly.
