When it’s good news in the family, you’ve got to announce it to the world, sharing the joy with everyone you love, no? That’s exactly what Sushmita Sen did last night when she shared her excitement about turning ‘bua (aunt)’ after her brother Rajeev Sen and sister-in-law Charu Asopa announced their pregnancy.
The very proud and excited aunt, Sushmita, took to her Instagram to share her happiness with everyone. Posting a picture of Charu cradling her baby bump, Sushmita wrote that she was waiting to share the news and that she is very excited on turning ‘bua (aunt)‘ and ‘can’t wait to hold the little one’! She added that the couple are expecting to welcome their child in November this year, and the lovely part is that it may fall on Sushmita’s birthday (19th November). Like she says, talk about happy serendipity!

Congratulations to my beautiful sister-in-law Charu Asopa and brother Rajeev on their blessed journey of parenthood! They are expecting their first child in November, the date may be on my birthday! Yippee! Speak of happy serendipity! I can’t wait to hold the little one! Charu has been waiting a long time for this and given her love for children, I just know, she’ll be an amazing mother! Sushmita’s elder daughter, Reneè Sen, also shared her excitement post the baby announcement and said that she, along with her sisters Alisah and Aaliyah are ‘super excited to be elder sisters and pamper and protect their little one’!
Charu shared the news with the world a few days ago when she posted the same picture Sushmita shared cradling her baby bump and wrote, ‘Grateful, thankful, blessed’.
