Mrunal Thakur is easily one of those actresses climbing high up the success ladder. She has set a fine example of her work with movies like Love Sonia, Super 30, and Batla House. Recently in an interview, she opened up and expressed her desire to work with King Khan of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.
Mrunal was last seen in Ghost Stories and I totally loved her performance in it. As per a few reports, Mrunal is likely to be a part of Telugu film starring Dulquer Salmaan. The actress is a big fan of SRK and she mentioned how not many good romantic movies are being produced these days.
In a interview with Bollywood Hungama, she said-
I am in love with Shah Rukh Khan. He has that charm. If I ever get to work with him I don’t know if I would even perform or just end up looking at him. I really wish to work with SRK in a nice romantic number like all the 2000s movies like Kal Ho Na Ho, Main Hoon Na, Veer Zaara, all the SRK films.
I want to be a part of a movie with SRK where it is really passionately romantic. You remember Roja (1992), what a beautiful film it was. It was just the way they looked at each other. I think that treatment is not happening now. It’s just like too bold now and everybody is really like even the characters that we play, they are ready to jump onto each other and start kissing,” she added. She added that she wishes to work with Shah Rukh Khan in a film that will be the “best cult romantic film ever made in the Bollywood industry.
I do have a lot of offers coming up now from the South. Opportunities will come when things open up after the pandemic. Yes, I am open to other languages as well. I am open for Spanish, French, let’s go outside India as well.
On the work front, the actress has many films lined up for this year and she will next be seen in Jersey alongside Shahid Kapoor.
