The six Friends have finally come together after 17 long years for a much-awaited reunion episode, in which they recalled memories about the show. The episode consisted of table readings, celebrity appearances, and a few unexpected revelations.
During the interview with host, James Corden, he quizzed the stars whether there had been any romances on the sets of the show, considering how much time they all had spent together.
Much to everyone’s surprise, Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer admitted to having a crush on each other. The duo blamed the poor timing for have not acted on it.
Jennifer, who played the role of Rachel Green, and David, who essayed Ross Geller, were the on-again-off-again couple in the show- and it turned out the attraction didn’t stop once the camera stopped rolling
Talking about the same, David Schwimmer revealed, “The first season, I had a major crush on Jen.“
“It was reciprocated,” Aniston replied.
At one point we were both crushing hard on each other, but it was like ships passing because we were both in relationships when the other wasn’t and we both really respected that,” Schwimmer further explained.
Jennifer went on to say, “I remember saying to you (Schwimmer), it’s going to be such a bummer if the first time we kiss is on national television … And sure enough we did.”
David further revealed that the two would “cuddle and fall asleep on the couch” during the breaks while they were shooting for the series.
It turns out that one of the most iconic on-screen couples was almost a couple in real life too!
