Amidst the daily surge in the Covid-19 cases in India, several Bollywood celebrities have stepped forward to help fight the pandemic. Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been the first one to reach out to people as he started the good work of helping stranded people reach their homes last year during the lockdown. The actor recently helped a 25-year-old girl by getting her airlifted from Nagpur to Hyderabad’s Apollo Hospital.
As per the sources who spoke to Mid-Day, It is known that Sonu has yet again airlifted 19 covid patients from Jhansi to Hyderabad who was critically ill. The actor has been very active on social media and tries to reach out to as many as he can who request help. While he continues to reach out and help the needy, he has also launched ‘Sanjeevani – A shot of life‘ an initiative to encourage people to get vaccinated and raise awareness.
Many other celebrities have said that Sonu and his humanitarian work have inspired them to come forward and help people in every way possible. Sonu has also been recognized globally for his selfless work and the actor continues to impact lives on a daily basis.
