While India still battles the second wave of Covid-19, several Bollywood celebrities have come forward to help the ones who have been affected by the virus. Actors have constantly been in the news as they have joined hands with different foundations and NGOs to reach out to the people who need help in hard times such as these. Recently, Bollywood veteran, Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle Khanna had donated oxygen concentrators to help fight the pandemic.
As per the reports of Bollywood Hungama, the two have been raising money through their fundraiser campaign to reach out to the people who are in desperate need of medical aid and other emergency supplies. They have been raising funds to help hospitals with oxygen concentrators. Not only Akshay and Twinkle but several other Bollywood celebrities have been helping hospitals get oxygen concentrators for Covid-19 patients. Twinkle took to Twitter to announce that they have raised funds and were able to arrange oxygen concentrators for people across India.

Their humanitarian work is truly inspiring and it surely motivates me to help someone, even if it’s in the smallest way possible. We definitely need more and more people like them to come forward and help the nation fight the battle against Covid-19.
