Given the uncertain times we are currently living in, a lot of films are opting for a digital release as compared to theatrical releases. Just yesterday, we shared with you that Taapsee Pannu‘s upcoming film, Rashmi Rocket is all set for an OTT release. But this is not the only film of hers that is set to go for a direct-to-OTT release. She also has Haseen Dilruba that is all set to premiere on Netflix.
While Netflix announced it’s super cool line-up of film releases a while ago and Haseen Dilruba was one of them, it has now announced a release date. Sharing a very short teaser, with a super intriguing and brief sound track, they announce the release date — 2nd July. Re-sharing the announcement, Taapsee wrote, “Kahani Aashiqana. Raaz Katilana”. Co-stars Vikrant Massey and Hashvardhan Rane also shared it on their Instagram saying this is going to be #TheUltimateKaunspiracy!

On Netflix‘s page, the film is descried as a mystery thriller that revolves around a wife who is a suspect in her husband’s murder. Through the investigation, she reveals details about her rocky and thorny marriage which further only seems to be blurring the truth. It is set to be directed by Vinil Mathew and is being produced by Aanand L Rai. The film was initially supposed to release in September 2020, but the production of the film got delayed due to the pandemic and only wrapped in October last year.
