Manoj Bajpayee Reportedly Opts Out Of The Indian Remake Of 'The Night Manager'

Bollywood veteran, Manoj Bajpayee has constantly been in the news for his upcoming series, ‘The Family Man 2.’ The actor has a huge fan following and is loved by many for his talent and the characters he has played in his films. As per the reports of Bollywood Hungama, the actor was supposed to play Richard Roper played by Hugh Laurie in the original series, ‘The Night Manager.’

Manoj was in talks with the makers for the series but due to the second wave of the pandemic, his other projects got delayed. Him not being able to match his dates with the rest of the star cast, Manoj decided to opt-out of the Indian remake. Bollywood Hungama also reported that Hrithik Roshan has been roped in to play the lead role. The production is now on a hunt to look for Manoj’s replacement.

‘The Night Manager is a British television serial which was directed by Susanne Bier. The show originally premiered on BBC One in 2016. It is surely going to be a big search for the filmmakers to find a replacement for this role which was supposed to be played by Manoj.
