Streaming giant, Netflix dropped the much-awaited trailer for Never Have I Ever season 2 today. Jointly created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, the coming-of-age, teen comedy series is headlined by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan. With the first season earning a lot of fan following and praise, fans were super thrilled for the second season of the show. And the wait is over and it is all set to drop on the OTT platform on July 15!
Season 2 will see Devi navigating the everyday pressures of high school, home, and new romantic relationships with the help of her girlfriends Fabiola and Eleonor.
As seen at the end of the first season, Devi now finds herself in a weird situation, i.e confused between Paxton (Darren Barnet) and Ben (Jaren Lewison). Now, don’t we love a good love triangle? And it’s no surprise that this is definitely going to get her in even more trouble. The trailer of the second season opens with a pros and cons board that Devi makes to choose between Paxton and Ben.
Devi’s mom, Nalini (played by Poorna Jagannathan) on the other hand, is seen embodying her ‘strict Indian mother’ role again and is back in full force as she catches her daughter kissing Ben. We get a sneak-peak of Fabiola (Lee Rodriguez) and Eleanor‘s (Ramona Young) sprouting relationships in the trailer as well.
