Actress, Shefali Shah needs no introduction of any kind. Shefali is popularly known for her versatility in films that she chooses. Her performance in the International Emmy Award-winning series, ‘Delhi Crime‘ was loved by many. As per the reports of Mid-Day, the actress has made her directorial debut with the pandemic-themed short film called ‘Someday.’

The lockdown has given Shefali the scope to write and the much-needed confidence. As per the reports of Mid-Day, the actress in a statement to the media said, “Wanting to become a director was brewing in my head. For the longest time, I’ve wanted to direct but I wasn’t sure if I had it in me to take the responsibility of a film on my shoulders. There’s a lot of hard work, blood, sweat, time, and money for so many people. So, I wasn’t sure if I could take that responsibility.”

The short film ‘Someday’ is a story of two women, a frontline worker who returns home to quarantine for seven days, and her mother, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s. The film was shot in just two days with a crew of five people. There is no doubt that Shefali is one of the most brilliant talents the industry has. Her film will be screened at the upcoming 18th edition of the Indian Film Festival Stuttgart and I am confident that the film will be loved by many.
