Amid the ongoing pandemic, movie theatres have been shut in order to curb the spread of the virus. Several producers and filmmakers have been approaching various OTT platforms for their film release as cinema halls continue to remain shut. As per the reports of Hindustan Times, actor Shahid Kapoor will be seen making his digital debut.

It has been reported that Shahid will be working with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the duo who were a part of the hit series, ‘The Family Man.’ The actor believes that success gained in movies does not necessarily guarantee acceptance on OTT platforms. Shahid during a live Instagram session interacted with fans and expressed his nervousness about making his OTT debut. He said, “I‘m very nervous about making my digital debut because I really feel that actors who might have been liked and loved on the big screen, might or might not be appreciated on a digital platform.”

Not many details have been shared yet about his digital venture. He also understands that it is very difficult to pull off long-form formats, especially when it is a web series. The actor surely has many thoughts and much more to say about his digital debut. I am sure that Shahid will be brilliant on the digital screen and I am super excited to see what he has in store for us.

Hope you all are staying safe at home and taking care of yourselves and your loved ones. Always wear a mask when stepping out and sanitize your hands regularly.
