The ongoing pandemic has disrupted many things for several industries, especially for Bollywood. Things right now are looking much better as shoots have been resuming back slowly and with all the required Covid-19 protocols kept in mind. Veteran producer, Boney Kapoor is currently in collaboration with Ajay Devgn for his upcoming film, ‘Maidaan.’ The shoot had been stopped due to the lockdown which resulted in a long delay.
As per the reports of Entertainment Times, Boney has acquired the remake rights of Mammootty’s Malayalam 2021 hit political drama ‘One‘ for all Indian languages. There are reports that once Boney completes his shooting schedule with Ajay, he will commence the shoot of the Hindi remake of the 2019 Malayalam film ‘Helen‘ with his daughter Janhavi Kapoor in the lead. Speaking of the Hindi remake of ‘One’ the producer is in search of someone who can do justice and adapt easily to the role.
The original film depicted the political ideologies and duties of a Chief Minister. Mammootty played the role of Kerela’s Chief Minister in the film. I am super excited to see who will be roped in for this film and how it will all turn out to be by the end of it.
