Subrata Roy, business tycoon and founder of Sahara India Pariwaar, is all set to get a biopic based on his life very soon. Just today, Taran Adarsh took to his social media to announce the news.
Sharing a note, Mr. Adarsh confirmed that the business tycoon is set to get a biopic on his life and that an official announcement will be made by the makers of the film on 10th June, which also marks Mr. Roy’s 73rd birthday.
Here is his post:

Mr. Roy, who is out on parole since 2016 after being in the Tihar Jail for 2 years, has also had his story explored in Netflix‘s recent docu-series, Bad Boy Billionaires. But according to a report on Moneycontrol, the Sahara Group had offered a statement about the show calling it ‘an ill-motivated, incorrect, misleading documentary’.
Well, biopics are always an interesting genre and I’m definitely looking forward to know more about this!
