Bollywood choreographer, Late Saroj Khan was popularly known for her work in the film industry. She not only mesmerized the audiences with actors performing her dance moves but also revolutionized choreography in Hindi cinema. She was loved by many and always wore a smile with a positive attitude on sets. She is known for many of her successful songs mostly in the 90s. She also had the opportunity to work with many top actors and create some of the industry’s most famous dance scenes.
Bhushan Kumar recently announced that T-Series is all set to produce a biopic on the legendary choreographer Saroj Khan. The producer shared that he has acquired the rights to her life story from Saroj Khan’s family. Bhushan in a recent statement to the media said, “Sarojji not only mesmerized the audiences with actors performing her dance moves, but she also revolutionized the choreography scene in Hindi cinema. Her dance forms told stories which helped every filmmaker.”
Not many details have been shared yet about the director and the cast of the film, as the team wants to keep things under wraps for now. Her career spanned over five decades and she has choreographed countless songs. ‘Choli Ke Peechey Kya Hai’, ‘Hawa Hawai’ and ‘Dhak Dhak Karne Laga’ are some of the popular songs that she choreographed.
