Alaya F made her smashing entry in Bollywood with her debut film, Jawaani Jaaneman. The film also starred Saif Ali Khan and Tabu. However, the COVID 19 pandemic hit and brought things to a halt for everyone including Alaya. Now as things are slowly getting back to normal, an exciting announcement is doing rounds regarding the actress’ next film. According to a report by Midday, Alaya has been roped in by Ekta Kapoor for the Hindi remake of Kannada hit thriller, U-Turn.
For the unversed, the film U-Turn was released in Kannada and starred Shraddha Srinath in the lead role. It was also remade in Tamil and Telugu and was headlined by Samantha Akkineni. Now, for the Hindi remake, Ekta Kapoor has roped in Alaya.
The reports also suggest that the film goes on-floors tomorrow. While not much has been revealed about the film, it is set in an urban backdrop the makers dropped a teaser, announcing the film.

The film will be helmed by debutante director Arif Khan, who has assisted on films like Gunjan Saxena, 2 States, Student of the Year among others.
