We all loved watching Anubhav Sinha’s Article 15 and Hansal Mehta’s Scam 1992, as both the films were brilliant in terms of storytelling and execution. Now imagine the filmmakers of the aforementioned movies, joining hands for a project! I know, sounds interesting. The two directors are currently working on a commercial thriller starring Shashi Kapoor’s grandson Zahaan Kapoor and Paresh Rawal’s son, Aditya Rawal.
This thriller film will mark the big Bollywood debut of Zahaan Kapoor, and Aditya Rawal’s first big theatrical release in a lead role. The directors handpicked both the actors and they had to undergo intense training sessions ranging for over months.
Talking about the cast, Anubhav Sinha says-
Both Zahaan and Aditya bring fresh energy and excitement to their roles. We casted new actors as we wanted the audience to feel they are watching characters rather than any star in the film with preconceived notions. We’ve started shooting for the film and the hard work these two are putting in is commendable.
On selecting the cast, Hansal Mehta says-
With the subject at hand, I was very keen on doing this film with fresh faces. Both Zahaan and Aditya were selected on the basis of their talent and potential. The characters they play are very intricate and I’m sure the audience will love them too.
The name of the film is currently under wraps but so far we know that it is being produced by Anubhav Sinha’s Benaras Mediaworks, Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series along with Mahana Films – Sakshi Bhatt, Sahil Saigal & Mazahir Mandasaurwala.
