Kriti has always believed in taking up challenging roles as it helps you evolve as an actor. Her first-look poster from her upcoming film ‘Mimi‘ has created quite a buzz in the showbiz world. The film is directed by Laxman Utekar and will see Kriti in an unconventional character.
The actress took to Instagram to unveil her first look from the film. It is very evident that Kriti has a confused expression on her face in the poster. Kriti’s character surely looks baffled and shocked in the poster, doesn’t it? Is there something that the makers are trying to tell us through her look or is it something they want us to take a guess at?
‘Mimi’ is a remake of the 2011 Marathi film ‘Mala Aai Vhhaychy.’ The Marathi film got a lot of love and appreciation as the script and direction grabbed everyone’s attention. Kriti will be seen playing the character of a surrogate mother who helps bear a child for someone else. The film has an unorthodox storyline to it, which makes it even more interesting and a must-watch. Apart from Kriti, the film also features Pankaj Tripathi and Sai Tamhankar and I am super excited to see what the entire cast has in store for us.
