As the current situation slowly improves, things have been looking quite good for the ones who have been out of business during the lockdown. Movie theatres continue to remain shut in most parts of the country. As a result, many film producers and directors have been approaching OTT platforms. One of the highly anticipated films, ‘Bell Bottom‘ starring Akshay Kumar was initially to be released on July 27 in cinemas.
As per the reports of Bollywood Hungama, the release date of the film has been further pushed to August. When the Covid-19 cases were steadily dropping and Maharashtra had unveiled a level-based unlock plan. Hence, everyone expected that the cinema halls would open almost everywhere in India, including in major centers like Mumbai and the capital city, Delhi. The government is at a conservative approach in opening the state.
There is no update yet on the new release date. I have been eagerly waiting for the film to release soon as it has some of my favorite stars in it. I really want to watch this film in a theatre and hope it releases as soon as cinema halls are open. Super excited for this one.
