Amid the ongoing pandemic, there has been some relaxation in the lockdown rules set by the state governments. Film shoots have resumed in the city and filmmakers and production houses are all set to start shooting again. Filmmaker Aditya Sarpotdar will be seen making his Bollywood directorial debut with his upcoming film, ‘Kakuda.’ Aditya is a critically acclaimed Marathi filmmaker and is popularly known for Marathi films like ‘Classmate,’ ‘Mauli,’ and ‘Faster Fene.’
As per the reports of Mid-Day, Riteish Deshmukh, Sonakshi Sinha, and Saqib Saleem will be seen together in ‘Kakuda.’ The cast of this film began shooting today for their upcoming horror comedy. Some of the actors from the cast took to social media to post about the first day of their shoot. The script is written by Avinash Dwivedi and Chirag Garg and the star cast looks quite promising to me.
In a recent statement to the media, Aditya, the director of this film said, “I’m very excited to collaborate with Ronnie Screwvala. We are treating the film like nothing short of a big-scale commercial movie. The casting was just perfect and the story will have you both at the edge of your seat and in splits.” I am super excited for this film and can’t wait to see what the entire cast has in store for us.
