Shilpa Shetty‘s husband and businessman Raj Kundra has been sent to custody by the Mumbai police over a case involving pornographic films. According to reports, the Mumbai Police said they arrested Raj on Monday.
The police further specified that they have “sufficient evidence” against Raj Kundra. Thet further added that investigations are in progress.
According to various reports, the Mumbai Police Commissioner said —”There was a case registered with the Crime Branch Mumbai in Feb 2021 about the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some Apps. We’ve arrested Mr Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this. We have sufficient shreds of evidence regarding this”.
Denying the allegations against him, Raj Kundra has sought anticipatory bail in the case.
The businessman has been sent to custody till 23rd July.
For the unversed, In 2009 Shilpa Shetty got married to Raj Kundra. The couple welcomed their first child, son Viaan Raj Kundra, in 2012 and their second child – a daughter named Samisha through surrogacy, last year.
