Amid the ongoing pandemic, several Bollywood celebrities have stepped up to help the ones who are in need. The second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic was a very rough phase for the people of India. While the country was in desperate need of oxygen and other medical aid, it was celebrities who reached out and contributed to their fullest capacity. Actress, Jacqueline Fernandez has constantly been in the news because of her humanitarian work and the things she has been doing for people.
It has been two months ever since Jacqueline launched her very own foundation called ‘YOLO‘ which is committed to helping people during the ongoing pandemic. The actress believes in giving back to society by doing philanthropic work on an individual level. She has been actively helping people and it was just recently that she distributed raincoats to the Pune and Mumbai Police to face the unexpected showers during the pandemic.
She just didn’t stop at this, she also met girls from an NGO and performed yoga with them on International Yoga Day. Jacqueline and her team at ‘YOLO’ have been constantly thinking of ways to reach out to the ones who are affected by the pandemic. All of this just in a span of two months, hats off to her for carrying on the good work.
Hope you all are doing well and staying safe at home. Always wear a mask when stepping out and sanitize your hands regularly.
