Over the years, Bollywood has seen actors evolve in every aspect of their careers. Several film stars have established themselves as brilliant actors through their on-screen performances. Vidya Balan who is popularly known for her versatility has been in the news constantly because of her films. She was recently seen playing the role of a forest officer in ‘Sherni.’ Vidya is known for playing unconventional characters and there is no doubt that she fits in almost any character easily.

As per the reports of The Indian Express, the actress talks about the challenges and her role in the short film ‘Natkhat.’ The short film captures how women are shorn of all agency as toxic masculinity rules over their lives. Vidya has a very strong character in this film as she is shown as someone who is suppressed but refuses to bow down when her 7-year-old son is encouraged to walk the same path of male entitlement.

We’ve seen Vidya take up different kinds of roles and she believes in being challenged and giving something new each time she’s on-screen. She’s one of my favorite in the film industry and she has essayed her character in this short film with ease. With that said, hope you all are doing well and staying safe at home. Always wear a mask when stepping out and sanitize your hands regularly.
