Aditya Roy Kapur is all set to star in Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani‘s next project which is a Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil action-thriller, Thadam. The film will be directed by debutant director Vardhan Ketkar. Based on true events, the yet-to-be-titled thriller will see Aditya playing a double role on screen for the first time ever. He will be stepping in the shoes of Arun Vijay as the lead.
The film is planned to go on floors this September. Aditya Roy Kapur who is super excited to work on this challenging role said that he is inspired and excited to be a part of such an interesting story. The actor further described the original film as incredibly riveting and entertaining, which left a lasting impression on him. Aditya further expressed that he is pumped to kickstart his prep for the role he is going to play!
Aditya who was last seen in Anurag Basu’s black comedy, Ludo will also be seen in Om: The Battle Withing alongside Sanjana Sanghi. The action film is directed by Kapil Verma. It went on floors last year in December and is expected to release by the end of 2021.
