Marvel Cinematic Universe has given the world some incredible superhero films. Fans from across the world have great memories of their favorite superhero, especially from the MCU. It was recently that actress, Scarlett Johansson decided that ‘Black Widow‘ will be her last project with MCU. There is no doubt that she is a versatile actress and that fans will miss seeing her play the character of Natasha Romanoff.
As per the reports of Indian Express, Scarlett has filed a lawsuit against Disney for streaming her recent film ‘Black Widow.’ In her lawsuit, the actress mentioned that she had an agreement with Disney-owned Marvel Entertainment which involved a guarantee that the film will only release in theatres and her salary was based on the box-office collection. The lawsuit has been filed in Los Angeles superior court and there might soon be a hearing for the same.
The actress has shown great concern over this matter as her salary was based on the box-office performance. This is definitely a very shocking piece of news to all the loyal Marvel fans. On the other hand, it’s also very sad to see her leave MCU as ‘Black Widow.’ Her character was one of my favorites and I will always be a huge fan of her work in Marvel movies.
