You’re all familiar with our Instagram fascination and how much time we spend scrolling around the app. I can’t get enough of all the amazing Reels and trends making rounds on the ‘gram since I’m a major Instagram junkie. Don’t you believe that scrolling through Instagram is like watching a fantastic musical movie? I mean it has its own actors, there are amazing songs involved and also great costumes, hehe. However, I recently jumped on one of the most viral trends on Instagram currently, which is no different than a movie or musical itself, the #Blackout trend. This quirky trend is all about showing your acting and lip-syncing skills on super cute audio by Anthony Ramos. You should definitely try it out before it goes out of trend, just like some of our fave creators did. These creators have given this #ViralTrend their own twists and we love how creative they get. So, start scrolling and check ’em out.

Keep scrollin’

1. Jannat Zubair

Among the numerous concepts on the #Blackout trend, Jannat’s is probably the most complex to accomplish. It’s really worth appreciating the perfect timing of character transformation. Is it just me or do you all think that this must’ve taken a lot of time and would have a lot of wacky bloopers to add to the bag of memories? Well, this one surely did blow my mind and Monday blues away.

2. Anam Darbar

Aww! Aren’t these two major friendship goals? While attempting the #Blackout trend, Anam Darbar and Mohammed Ali Mirajkar looked incredibly cute and adorable. Their facial expressions are spot on, and I can sense their inner thoughts via my screen, hehe. Well, the ending was quite funny and I just could not stop myself from watching it on loop.

3. Manav Chabbra

Isn’t #Unnav the cutest on-screen pair? Their facial expressions are fantastic, and I can’t seem to take my eyes away from them. This one defo gave me some serious musical rom-com vibes and I’ve seen it far too many times and still can’t get enough of it. These talented creators have mastered the #Blackout trend. If you haven’t tried this trend yet, then try it right now!

4. Unnati Malharkar

This is the most distinct version of the trend. I, too, would like two of myself, just like Unnati. This #Blackout trend was 2x awesome and entertaining, in my opinion. Ngl, this was one of my faves. Why would you need someone when you can play all the roles yourself like a pro, amirite? ‘WOW‘ is the word that comes to me when I think about this Reel.

5. Ayaan Zubair

Wow, he’s a young creator whose creativity and talent blows our minds. I just have four words for him, ‘Chota Packet, Bada Dhamaka.’ I’m impressed with how well he executed the changes and the precision with which he timed them. Who says you need someone to attempt the #Blackout trend? Ayaan did a fantastic job in both roles single-handedly, and I’m sure he won your hearts with this one as well. He twisted this trend in a super amazing way, so don’t forget to check it out, ‘cuz you will miss out on something super amazing.

6. The Mermaid Scales

If I ever have the opportunity to meet Krutika, I’ll ask her only one question, where does she get all of her cool ideas from? She looks so cute in this #Blackout trend, and she deserves a hundred points for her creativity. I would never have guessed those false eyelashes could be mistaken for a mustache, hehe, and those sunglasses are just the style I was searching for. I’m defo hooked to this one.

These were a handful of my fave #Blackout trend selections, and I truly liked them all. Many creators experimented with this fun and entertaining trend and gave it their own unique spin. So why don’t you give it a try too? Also, which creators according to you did this trend the best? Tell us in the comments below. On a side note, hope you are staying home and safe.
