Filmmaker R Balki is popularly known for his 2018 National Award-winning drama ‘Pad Man‘ which won everyone’s heart. The filmmaker recently announced that he will be collaborating with Dulquer Salmaan for his upcoming film. It was just last week that the team confirmed the star cast for the upcoming thriller. The film will star Sunny Deol, Pooja Bhatt, and Shreya Dhanwanthary in prominent roles.
As per the reports of Bollywood Hungama, veteran actor, Amitabh Bachchan will be a part of this untitled thriller. The filmmaker loves working with Amitabh as he has been a part of all his films. In a recent statement to the media, R Balki said, “In my thriller, Mr. Bachchan will come in at a crucial juncture in the plot. His presence would be decisive, as it always is in my cinema. I’d never cast him just for the sake of casting him.”
The filmmaker also went on to add saying, “We can’t just keep waiting for the Covid situation to turn around. We have to get back to work. I am doing that with much anxiety and nervousness. Not thinking too much ahead about where it will release and when. Right now I’d just like to concentrate on making the film.”
