Abhishek Bachchan’s name has been associated with the Hindi remake of ‘Oththa Seruppu Size 7’ for quite some time. And now according to reports, the actor has already kickstarted filming for the same. Reports suggest that Abhishek is bankrolling the Hindi adaptation of Tamil thriller ‘Oththa Seruppu Size 7’ under his banner. The actor is currently shooting in Chennai.
The film is directed by Parthiban, who helmed the original film too. ‘Oththa Seruppu Size 7’ is a hit Tamil thriller which hit the theatres in 2019. It is said that the Abhishek Bachchan starrer remake will show a slightly tweaked tale to cater to the pan-India audience.
For the unversed, ‘Oththa Seruppu Size 7’ is penned, helmed, produced and headlined by Parthiban and it was awarded two honours at the prestigious 67th National Film Awards in 2019.
Apart from this, Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in Tushar Jalota’s ‘Dasvi’ which also features Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur. The actor has also wrapped up the shoot of ‘Bob Biswas’.
